BTW, that thread was posted over two years ago and I've seen nothing like it since.

No software is perfect, and HPCC is no exception to that, but I do not have a list of shortcomings to share with you because any issues I find that could be described as such are reported and fixed in a timely fashion.

Therefore, I would suggest you simply learn about and work with HPCC enough to form your own opinion.
