Protecting files from deletion

Comments and questions related to the Enterprise Control Language

I am aware of the protect option using #WORKUNIT, but is there anything to protect logical files on the Thor from being deleted? I realize that in a Dev environment, this may not be generally advisable, but some co-workers are having issues with files being deleted without notification.

I have very VAGUE memories of someone mentioning code signing in relation to protecting files from malicious actors, but nothing in the Programmers' Guide is hinting at that use.

Perhaps https://hpccsystems.com/training/docume ... lFile.html?

What is not mentioned there is that only the user who protects a file can then unprotect it.
