Sorting files in repository folders

Topics specific to the use of the ECL IDE

Sun Jul 24, 2016 12:37 am Change Time Zone

We're currently using a storage product that does not sort files/folders listed in a folder in a mounted volume (non-legacy repository, not MySQL).
So, in ECL IDE, the Repository browser shows folders unsorted - a royal pain for a sizable repository.
Note that in the Windows COMMAND, a "dir" shows the same (non-)sorting.

Don't suppose it would be easy to tweak the ECL IDE Repository pane to explicitly sort the folders/files (as should normally be done by a filesystem)?
(Unfortunately, we have no control over the storage product that no longer sorts as it previously did.)

Thanks.

Check that. I now see this change should show up in 6.0, from my previous JIRA ticket.
Sorry for the dup.
