The University of Bremen, in Germany, presents the 26th Informatica Feminale – the International Summer University for women students and professionals in computer science.
Some 50 courses in Computer Science, ICT, and Informatics will be offered to women students in computing studies as well as to practitioners in the field. We are proud of our collaboration with R V College of Engineering in India and are so pleased that Professor Dr. G. Shobha and Assistant Professor Dr. Jyoti Shetty will be teaching classes and spreading the word about HPCC Systems!
Their course, Relational Database, Data Warehousing and Analytics, will be held on Wednesday, August 16 – Friday, August 18. The course introduces the concepts of Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), data warehousing, analytics and its relevance in the current day applications. Students will be exposed to end user access tools for online Analytical Processing (OLAP), reporting and visualization of data. Concepts of Extract, Transform, Load, Dimensional Modelling and Analytics using Distributed Data Processing such as High Performance Computing Cluster (HPCC Systems) will be demonstrated.
