XXIV ERAD/RS
April 24 – 26, 2024
The XXIV High Performance Regional School of the South Region (ERAD/RS 2024) will be held between April 24th and 26th, 2024, at the Centro Universitário SENAI Santa Catarina (UniSENAI), in Florianópolis/SC.
The main objectives are:
Qualify professionals in southern Brazil in the areas that make up high-performance processing;
Provide a regular forum where recent advances in these areas can be presented;
Discuss ways of teaching high-performance processing in universities.
Join us as members of the Brazil Training team will conduct workshop and a presentation!
The team will be presenting Big Data through the HPCC Systems Perspective, and conducting a workshop titled Big Data Processing and Analysis and Application of Machine Learning Algorithms through the use of the HPCC Systems Platform.
About our speakers:
Mauro Marques, Senior Technical Support Engineer with LexisNexis Risk Solutions, supports the development and delivery of training programs for the HPCC Systems platform in the Brazil region.
Alysson Oliveira is a software engineer at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. His main activity revolves around the support and development of training programs for the HPCC Systems platform in Brazil, covering academic audiences, researchers and professionals in the area of computing and data. He also seeks to establish partnerships with universities in order to offer undergraduate students the opportunity to work on scientific projects.
