Florida Atlantic University Engagement Goal
Expand the implementations of HPCC Systems to improve its ability to handle cutting edge machine learning (ML) tasks such as Deep Learning and GPU processing
Florida Atlantic University (FAU) has extensive experience with using machine learning (ML). Through our various collaborations over the years, we have worked together to extend the ML capabilities of the HPCC Systems platform by implementing advanced ML algorithms for big data analytics. The main aim of these collaborative projects has been to focus on increasing the efficiency of the embedded open source deep learning libraries, while improving usability. FAU has performed extensive case studies using HPCC Systems with data related to the social determinants of health, such as Ebola and COVID-19.
